The Archive was open for the passed 6 days.
Now it remains closed for a while.
It’s still full of melodies, atmospheres, moods, chords, notes…
My life goes on like everyone’s life:
sometimes I feel
fine,
or bad,
or happy,
or sad,
or sick,
or healthy again!
Today is a day for a restart:
I entered the studio
kissed my Grandpiano and
recorded this brand new PianoTweet!

I have been a bit ill lately.
And still not yet in the right shape…

Here’s where the Archive saves me again.
I want to go on,
but I do not always have enough power.
I’m only a human being.
I’m only a piano player,
inventing a melody now and then.
In addition I write a text, like this one.
Some of them are full of inspiration.
Some of them are just a hollow phrase.
I wrote far more than 200 small pieces of text, being not a writer at all.
I’m just a musician – not a writer, nor a photographer.
Today was a day with zero inspiration, nothing, nada, niente.
By the way, I like this one too 🙂
And on we go, listening to the Archive.
The actual reason is that I’m not in my hometown these days,
so no new recordings right now.
But the Archive saves me, wherever and whenever.
It’s always with a small tear and a little sigh of happiness,
listening ot this “old” music pieces.
I realise how music is always a saving and healing medium,
from everything that tries to tear one down.
Being in a disturbing and chaotic world,
there are so many beautiful things as well.
Yes, of course I do categorize also this music is beautiful 🙂

I started playing piano at the age 9.
I started improvising a few years later.
My teacher told me I should learn my lessons first.
I didn’t.
First I improvised, then I started my terrible exercises.
I started to record some improvisations in the early 80’s, of the 20th century 😉
I lost a rather big part of those recordings during the years.
They all travelled to hearing ears outside this world.
This PianoTweet was taken from the archive of 2008.
In this period I will present more improvisations.
Today it’s no. 1’s turn.
