Yesterday I talked with a colleague
about irregular measure counts and beats in music.
I remembered a sequence of notes I played many years ago.
Illustrating a 5/4 measure, which is considered to be irregular.

I thought about the perfect harmony between them.

And I wished – and I always do –
that every human being,
black or white, yellow or red,
from east or west, north or south,
christian or muslim,
hindu or buddhist,
could be united in perfect harmony.
