Last Breath – PianoTweet no. 698

When a human being leaves this life,
its last movement is
breathing out the last breath.

When my father died some time ago,
I was there with him:
present when he
breathed in and out
his last breath.

It was the most
impressive and memorable moment ever
in my life.

A few days ago a friend died.
I remember her
as a very strong and sweet person.

Life starts with a breath,
fades out,
and fades into another life;
leaving us the memories.
