Getting Inspired – PianoTweet no. 670

I got inspired by a faithful follower.

She needed some music for a movie,
asked me for a musical idea,
and I suggested some music from my archive.
And she agreed 🙂

For today’s PianoTweet I improvised
on this theme,
that I originally composed

It’s a great experience
to get inspired by new input
and earlier compositions
at the same time!

It’s not what you think it is – PianoTweet no. 667

There’s so much inspiration for a musician,
both positive and negative.
I’m worried.
About what happens in our world.
I’m happy at the same time
About the beauty of
so many things around me.

Sometimes it’s quit an effort
to express the exact source of inspiration.
It might be grief,
it might be joy.

Ceres and Dawn – PianoTweet no. 665

An interesting developing news fact about space technology
can be read these days.

Ceres is a very distant, so-called “dwarf planet”.
Dawn is a spacecraft, a voyager in space, launched in 2007.

The voyage of Dawn intends to end
into an orbit close to Ceres,
performing scientific research,
discovering secrets about the planet’s existence and it’s past
and send its reports to planet Earth.

The price Dawn has to pay is to be “caught” by Ceres’ gravitude
and circle around the planet – for its entire life.
Never again it will be capable to escape from this power.

Take care:
don’t get to an end like Dawn,
caught by something that’s called a “distant dwarf”.
