We all breathe.
Every second, minute, hour,
year after year.
How much time do we spend
to observe our breath?
When our lives go on and on,
when many things happen,
we need to breathe
and observe our breathing.
Because it’s by far the best and the fastest way
to get back into the basics of ourselves.
Like the most simple and curing medicine…
Time to Breathe – PianoTweet no. 579
For me, this week’s theme seems to be:
“Ashes to ashes, dust to dust”.
Important people were remembered:
we, my family, spreaded the ashes of my father,
back to mother Earth.
Besides, a dear friend of mine
suddenly passed away, last week.
Emotions were exchanged and shared,
tears were shed for beloved ones.
It’s a very significant part of our lives.
The main drive to our powers and wills to live.
An experience that
touches and trembles our fundamentals,
our thoughts and opinions
about the “Meaning of Life”.
About what really matters.
A repeated call
to search and reach a higher level,
a more conscious way of living.

I remember something
remarkable about a dear friend.
Sometimes, when he came into a room,
he joked and said with a big smile:
“SOMEONE enters the room!”.
Yes, he was quite of a “Someone”…
A lively and humorous person,
with a high level of enthusiasm,
lots of creative skills,
a warm heart.
He left this life about a week ago.
It appears that
the wheight of his life turned out
to be too heavy for him.
I will miss You deeply,
my dear Friend.

(text written on December 12th, 2011)
The waves of the sea.
The clouds in the sky.
The lines in my skin.
Always there, in different shapes.
A constant wave.
A constant base.
Expressed in this music by
a constant note:
Emotions – PianoTweet no. 341 (replay)
These days I shared
a lot of moving stories with my brother.
About our childhood, our schools and studies,
our paths and highways in life.
Mixed with a very personal melody
(from my CD “Umbria Impressioni”),
this music is my tender impression
of a very valuable conversation.

Today’s PianoTweet was inspired
by a text of Lao Tzu.
“Do without “doing”.
Get involved without manipulating.
Taste without tasting.
Make the great small,
The many, few.
Respond to anger with virtue.
Deal with difficulties while they are still easy.
Hand the great while it is still small.
The difficult problems in life
Always start off being simple.
Great affairs always start off being small.
Therefore the sage never deals with the great
And is able to actualize his greatness.
Now light words generate little belief,
Much ease turns into much difficulty.
Therefore the sage treats things as though they were difficult,
And hence, never has difficulty.”

Charles Mueller, 2004, Chapter 63
Do without “doing” by Lao Tzu – PianoTweet no. 575
Solutions are there to help us.
To show processes, strategies and flows of energies.
So we have a chance to grow.
Keep looking around
for opportunities and alternatives
to situations known as “problems”.
Even when I observe it as something else,
even when a sky seems to get darker,
the sun with its light further away,
I have the faith that a solution is there.
