Where the Wind blows – PianoTweet no. 141 (replay)

(text written on May 21st, 2011)

Looking out of the window
where my wind starts to blow

A glance at its movement
moving towards its end

Dynamics, filled with speed, full of gentle power
like my heart, that touches your flower

Where my wind starts to move
and moves to the growing groove

Anywhere this Wind blows
that’s where my new world grows

That’s where humble love
is beyond the All: coming from the Far Above.

Up and Down – PianoTweet no. 139 (replay)

(text written on May 19th, 2011)

There is always an Up and a Down.
I prefer not to “talk” about “Ups and Downs”.
That’s too common, too much small talk.
Like fashion; coming up and vanishing again.
Like trends; they come and they go.

Yesterday I had the honour to be a guest in very sweet company.
And we were taught about how Energy flows.
I was given the opportunity to choose.
Does the Energy stream from Up to Down?
Or does it flow from Down to Up?

I know I can direct my Energy.
From Up to Down
and then re-direct it
Down to Up

Enjoy this PianoTweet,
that can make you listen to a choice!

My Frontier – PianoTweet no. 138 (replay)

(text written on May 18th, 2011)

When information arrives,
like peoples’ talk, the news, letters, messages and
everything that makes me interact with the world,
impressions all the way and everywhere,
I sometimes feel an overload coming up.

At the same time I am curious.
I want to know very much about many things.

I’m getting near my frontier.
It’s time to close a door and a window now and then.
This frontier I need,
for my inner silence and growth.

It’s not that what’s coming in
from the Outside
that feeds my Conscious.
It’s the Introspection
that heals, that bears the answers.

Like a protecting guard
taking care of my safety at my Frontier.

Goodbye for Now, but… (“Sono Dio” Series, no. 24) – PianoTweet no. 136 (replay)

(text written on May 16th, 2011)

This PianoTweet is an extended one!
Because it’s the last one in this series.

At the start of this Series “Sono Dio”,
I promised to explain the construction of this Series.
It’s all based on the structure of
the harmonic keys in music theory.

These are the names of the basic 12 keys:

C
G
D
A
E
B
Fis or Ges (F sharp/G flat)
Cis or Des (C sharp/D flat),
Gis or As (G sharp/A flat),
Dis or Es (D sharp/E flat),
Ais or Bes (A sharp/B flat) and
Eis (E sharp) or F.

Both keys have a Major and a Minor “side”.
So all together it’s 12 times 2, which makes 24 keys.

This picture shows more theory:
I will not bother you with the details…

For me, following this circle of keys was the only thing to do
when thinking about which key to play.
And that’s a kind of luxury for me.

So, this Series has come to an end.
Ideas for new ones are growing.

I explained the deeper meaning of this Series at the start:
> read more here <

To this Series I say:
thank you,
you were a great opportunity and a
huge source of inspiration!

Start of an Idea (“Sono Dio” Series, no. 23) – PianoTweet no. 135 (replay)

(text written on May 15th, 2011)

Every piece starts with an idea.
And an idea starts with a start…

This PianoTweet is an example of that, born yesterday.
An Idea for a bigger, a larger piece, maybe a very large one.

Quoting the French philosopher Victor Hugo:
“Nothing is stronger than an idea whose time has come”.

Probably the time for this idea hasn’t come completely.
But the start, the seed is there…

I’ll keep you informed.
It’s nice to share this with you.

Sunset Blackbird (“Sono Dio” Series, no.22) – PianoTweet no. 134 (replay)

(text written on May 14th, 2011)

One of the best known sounds in our country:
The Blackbird.

The Blackbird
starting our day and ending it.
And turning back during the Day…

If only I were
a Blackbird at Sunset.

Everyone would love me all day long,
from the early hours in the morning
until sunset has gone.

And while hearing me,
longing for me again.
Me, the next day:
singing a new song once more.

Poem in Your Ears (“Sono Dio” Series, no.21) – PianoTweet no. 133 (replay)

(text written on May 13th, 2011)

A poem in your ears
means
that this PianoTweet
is meant to be put into your ears.

Of course I don’t know anything about
the conditions of your audio equipment,
how you actually do listen to audio, to music.

If you like the piano music I compose,
if you like the sound of my grandpiano,
I recommend you to use
very good headphones or excellent speakers.

So:
you can enjoy the full range of the sound of the instrument;
the meaning of each PianoTweet really enters in a perfect state;
the musical words of this poem will enter into your ears,
fully compatible with the recorded reality.
