A Wink to Love (“Sono Dio” Series, no.11) – PianoTweet no. 123 (replay)

(text written on May 3rd 2011)

Today no music for Obama’s life, nor for Osama’s death….
Because these horrifying facts and cynical fictions
happening on this level
do not contain any inspiration for me.

Today a PianoTweet for attentive listeners amongst you.

A famous melody is “hidden”; not really very well hidden.

It’s tempting to start with a few notes that open
a huge reservoir of memories for many of us.
But, of course,
the rest of the melody
moves away from the original theme.

On the other hand there is another “tone” in this PianoTweet,
reflecting a passionate and deep love.

Enjoy the melody, combinated with your own images and feelings!

From X to Y (“Sono Dio” Series, no.10) – PianoTweet no. 122 (replay)

(text written on May 2nd 2011)

When I play my piano,
I am the boss.

It’s me who’s  deciding.
I decide where it starts and where it ends.
It’s a mighty feeling, happy, energic, powerful.

I say to myself: ok, here’s X.
Today X is unquiet.
You can hear it in the beginning of this PianoTweet.

Then I decide:
And now it moves to Y.
Today Y is rest, harmony.
You can hear this PianoTweet moving from one point to another.

That’s what PianoTweets is about:
discoveries, development, processes, growth.

Enjoy!

Two Stories (“Sono Dio” Series, no.9) – PianoTweet no. 121 (replay)

(text written on May 1st 2011)

A number of PianoTweets has been passed

about great and important themes.
The outer space,
etherical subjects,
undefined inspiration,
extraterrestrial life, just naming a few.

Today a new month starts.
New stories will fill the upcoming days.

Today’s PianoTweet tells two stories in one.
Listen carefully to this piece and discover them.
The right hand tells a different story than the left hand.

A rhythmic pattern telling about future’s tides…
A melodic song on the other hand is dreaming, hopeful, waiting…

Corresponding and cooperating, these stories are unified to one.
Every story has at least two stories in itself.

Some Time (“Sono Dio” Series, no. 8) – PianoTweet no. 120 (replay)

(text written on April 30th 2011)

Some time.

There is Time.
Time is a Dimension that man invented.

So they say.

Does that mean there could be no Time?
Because it’s an invention?
What’s happening?

Time goes faster or slower.
But everything goes on and on.

Oh please, hold on for a moment!
Let me feel how it is:
No Time.

Voices from Far (“Sono Dio” Series, no.7) – PianoTweet no. 119 (replay)

(text written on April 29th 2011)

Lately I have a feeling of contact.
I really don’t have the faintest idea with whom or with what.

There are new rays of energy I wasn’t aware of.
Like a new wave.
It feels like voices you can’t hear.

Ow, don’t worry! I’m not getting mad…
Not even superstitious, nor slightly fanatical.
My urge is only to translate it on the piano.
When trying to transform it into music,
it’s a strange and exciting sensation.

Because at the same time
there’s no more tradition,
no more usual structure.
Just notes, lose or tied together.

It’s a start to something new:
A new Dialogue.

View on Earth (“Sono Dio” Series, no.6) – PianoTweet no. 118 (replay)

(text written on April 28th 2011)

On my computer’s desktop
there’s that famous picture of
Planet Earth.
Taken by an astronaut.
You probably know it.

It’s our place.
It’s a jewel that no man or woman could have invented.
It’s an invention.
Of intelligence and love.
And these two are present in us all.

When I look at that picture
I always feel a kind of a tear.
A tear for joy.
As if we all – me too – have taken part in creating it.

The Idealist (“Sono Dio” Series, no.5) – PianoTweet no. 117 (replay)

(text written on April 27th 2011)

The Idealist in me is The Dreamer,
wishing all that seems impossible.

Food for everyone.
Enough to drink for everyone.
Peace everywhere.
An end on all suffering.
The ability to fly.
Travelling to Saturn in just 5 minutes.
The Perfect Love.
Being completely happy all day.
My music, your music in every corner of the Universe.
The soul as an eternal entity.
Immortality.

I believe
all imagines in our minds
all fantasies
all we ever wish
can be reality
It could exist
anywhere
anytime
Beyond all the dimensions.

If I believe this,
there must be a possibility.

It’s great to be an Idealist.
